Those iPhone 5 NFC rumours are back after recent reports that contactless payment tech wouldn’t make it into Apple’s next smartphone. Forbes blogger Elizabeth Woyke has contradicted claims by The Independent that iPhone 5 NFC tech is just a pipe dream. Whie Woyke’s report does sound like Chinese whispers, with more phones including NFC skills hitting the market (most notably the Google Nexus S) and Apple stashing up NFC patents, it makes sense.
