Just pick up a new MacBook Pro or simply hoping to get the most HD video recording capacity possible? Lexar has you covered with their 64GB and 128GB new SDXC cards, previously announced at CES 2011. The good news is they’ve finally come to their senses and scraped the original price MSRPs in half.
Take a seat, this might be a tough pill to swallow. The new Lexar 64GB SDXC card will be $199.99 and the larger, 128GB model $329.99. Originally priced at $399.99 and $699.99 respectively, Lexar is hoping the reduced pricing will lead to fast sales at the cash register. Both cards are rated Class 10, guaranteeing a minimum 20MB/second (133x) write speed. Clearly, these cards are being targeted toward the prosumer market, but they seem like a safe bet considering the new UHS-II specification proposed in January (500MB/second) has quite a ways to go.
