While the picture of the so-called HTC Ignite looks dead on, the specs it claims we’ll see don’t seem right. xda.cn claims the HTC Ignite will pack an 800Mhz Qualcomm processor, a 3.7in resistive touchscreen, 512MB RAM and a 5MP camera with LED flash.
There’s two big red flags in there – 800Mhz processors and a resistive touchscreen would not comply with the Windows Phone 7 hardware specs. Also: HTC is in the capacitive touchscreen game and we seriously doubt it would sling one out with a restitive panel instead. Let’s hope we see this good looking Windows Phone 7 device from HTC but find out the real specs soon.
