HTC Arrive will be first Windows Phone with copy and paste supportHuge news Windows Phone fans, the HTC Arrive scheduled to launch on Sprint’s network this Sunday will feature copy and paste support out of the gate. After a series of failed update attempts, Microsoft has yet to provide copy and paste support for existing WP7 users. Today’s news comes to us by way of a Sprint document released this afternoon, here’s the scoop.

The HTC Arrive lands Sunday, March 20th. In addition to copy and paste support, the smartphone also includes faster start-up and resume times for apps and game, as well as a streamlined Marketplace search function. Microsoft has said the copy and paste update for older WP7 phones is “waiting in the wings” and an OTA update would come in the “latter half of March”. Could it be possible the HTC Arrive release coincides with a worldwide update for copy and paste across all WP7? We’ll find out Sunday.

Poorly worded – The WP7 updates to-date have not been attempting to provide copy and paste, these are pre-updates. The Copy And Paste update is due ‘soon’.
    Great OS, lovely to use.
