After a bit of a hiccup last week, we’re back at it again dishing the latest tech news. In today’s US Update we confirm just how many Call of Duty: Black Ops owners live in the US, deliver the scoop on the Microsoft Zune, announce the Galaxy Tab WiFi release date and more.
One out of every eight US households now owns Call of Duty: Black Ops. Based on the latest Census data, the 13.7 million copies sold represent 12.5 percent of US households. The Microsoft Zune is no more. Microsoft is reportedly closing the doors on future Zune releases and plans to keep the software for use with Windows Phone 7 from here on out.
Apple has added a new AirPlay-enabled apps section to iTunes. There are currently 16 titles to choose from, take a look at what they’ve got here. On April 4th the Samsung Galaxy Tab WiFi-only edition will be released. Word on the street is the WiFi Tab will be priced at $399 and still run Froyo, Android 2.2.
