As if there weren’t already enough iterations of the Galaxy Tab, Samsung is teasing yet another version of the Tab: its the 8.9-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab we’ve heard speak of in the last few weeks. That’s to slot in the form factor slot between the 10.1-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab we saw at MWC 2011 and last year’s 7-inch Galaxy Tab.

Samsung will be holding an event in Florida on 22 March, with a tagline that reads: “What’s your Tab Life? 78910″ Presuming that the 7 and the 10 take care of the 7-inch and 10.1-inch models of the Galaxy Tab, that leaves us with the 89, which probably correspond to the 8.9-inch version of the Galaxy Tab we’ve heard so much about.

Is Samsung right to fill every form factor imaginable, or should they be keeping it simple with the Samsung Galaxy Tab? Shout out in the comments!

I think it will be a good thing. The 7inch tablets that I've seen just look too small to me.
