Today we’ve heard chatter from Microsoft on two counts. Firstly there’s music to the ears of Kinect bods the world over, as Microsoft promises to beef up its games offering for the controller. Secondly there’s talk of a Microsoft cloud music service. Could Ballmer and his crew be squaring up to challenge the likes of Apple and Google’s incoming cloud music service?

We also learnt that the BlackBerry PlayBook will be coming pre-loaded with 7digital, and Samsung teased its latest form factor in the race to provide a Samsung Galaxy Tab in every single screen size it can muster. Add 8.9-inch screen to the pile in between the 7-inch and 10.1-inch Tab.
