Thought the Kinect-filmed music video was cool? This is better. Microsoft Kinect has been tweaked and paired with a 3D printer to recreate 3D models of people. Read on to see it in action, in our latest Video of the Week.
Put together by Karl Willis from Interactive Fabrication, the set-up enables users to gaze into the Kinect camera, from which their images are captured for printing via a 3D printer that makes the miniature 3D models.
