AMD’s Vision Technology gives laptop computers the power to display movies with amazing clarity, and makes it easier than ever for aspiring directors to edit their own films. To celebrate this year’s movie awards season, AMD is teaming up with Electricpig to give one reader a HP Pavilion entertainment laptop worth £500. Interested? Of course you are. Read on, and we’ll tell you how to put your hat in the ring.
All you have to do to enter the competition is submit a video of your own over-the-top Oscar acceptance speech, using YouTube or Facebook. Simply record and upload your acceptance speech video, and then add it to our Facebook wall. You can upload straight to Facebook, or paste the link to your YouTube video there so we can all enjoy it.
The best speech, as chosen by the Electricpig judging panel will win the laptop, a HP Pavilion DV6-3111SA, packed with Windows 7 Home Premium, a 2.2Ghz AMD Athlon II Dual-Core Processor, roomy 500GB hard drive and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 Graphics.
The closing date for entries is 31st March 2011, so start scribbling your acceptance speech now, and upload it stat!
How To Enter:
1. Create your video. Make it funny, touching, emotional or just plain scary.
2. Post it on the Electricpig Facebook wall, either using a YouTube link, or by uploading it directly to Facebook.
3. We’ll pick the best one in four weeks’ time (after March 31), and notify you through Facebook so keep an eye on your inbox.
4. Do it again if you like! You’re allowed as many entries per person as you can come up with!
