Warning: this story is not about a Nintendo Wii 3D console. However, Nintendo has been demoing a Nintendo Wii 3D set up at the Game Developer Conference. It seems Nintendo decided to show what Wii games might be like if they were available in glasses-free 3D.
The game that’s getting the treatment is Mario Kart and by all accounts it sounds awesome. Does that mean Nintendo will bring out the Nintendo Wii 3D next? We have absolutely no idea.
Nintendo definitely likes 3D – looks at the Nintendo 3DS – but it has put out confusing messages about a Wii 2 for a while now and we can’t second guess what it’ll do next.
