Alcatel Professor Green smartphone: Not swag in the slightest

Alcatel is launching a Professor Green branded smartphone. Whatever this was supposed to be (young, hip, street, other words related to youth culture), it is not. This is possibly the least cool team up we’ve ever seen. Why Professor Green? And why oh why Alcatel?

Actually, we take that back. Alcatel remind us in the release for the Professor Green team up that it also “collaborated” with Eliza Doolittle for a phone last year, and we can’t decide between the rock and hard place terribleness of Alcatel’s 2010 and 2011 celebrity collaborations.

The team up between Professor Green and Alcatel is to launch the Alcatel One Touch 802, but there’s no branding on the Professor Green phone whatsoever. It’s not even green. We’re disappointed. Needless to say it also comes without the hoped-for pre-loaded shanking app, but does come packing social networking apps.

What’s worse? Alcatel and Eliza Doolittle or Professor Green and Alcatel? Shout out in the comments!
