The date range for the release of the LG Optimus 3D dropped at the beginning of this week (some sources are saying April, some are saying May) and now there’s a placeholder price for the device too, and we must say, even with the consideration that this is the first glasses-free 3D smartphone: it’s not pretty.

The device is now available for pre-order on Expansys, and while we’d like to say that’s a solid pricing, we can’t. Prices often change from the initial listing. At the moment though, the LG Optimus 3D will set you back a whopping £515 Sim free. That’s a fiver more than an 8GB iPhone 4.

Is this price realistic for next-gen 3D tech? Click through to shout out in the comments!

Britney-Spears-Sony

Britney Spears has clearly decided to hold Sony close in her latest promo. The Hold It Against Me video is absolutely stuffed with Sony promotion. Besides the usual Britney tropes of her in her pants and an army of male dancers gyrating around her there’s Sony TVs galore and even brief flashes of Sony’s logo that seem like slackly done subliminal messages.
