Uber, a taxi service that got a lot of press in the US, is set for a UK launch. In an interview with TheNextWeb, Uber revealed that it’s planning to come to the UK this year. Uber launched to much interest and controversy. The Uber service gives you the ability to request a cab via iPhone or Android just by selecting your current location.
