That iPad 2 will come packing a front-facing camera seems inevitable now but it looks like we could see Photo Booth hit iPad 2, iPhone and iPod touch. A newly uncovered patent points to an iOS-version of Photo Booth that could be revealed at what we’re thinking of as the iPad 2 event.
The iPad 2 Photo Booth would let you grab images and add effects using actions like shaking the device. A new settings menu for ‘Image Effects’ allows control for audio, motion, location and camera data. Photo Booth effects including X-Ray, Glow and Thermal filters are listed in sub menus. We heard iPad Photo Booth rumours earlier this year and clues in iOS 4.3 make this one look like a no-brainer.
