We originally heard that the HTC Incredible S, HTC’s new Android 2.2 4-inch beast smartphone, would be out in Q2, pegging it for an April launch at the earliest. But we’ve just confirmed with one retailer at least, you’ll be able to buy it from tomorrow.

Mobiles.co.uk tells us it’s expecting stock from tomorrow, with first deliveries arriving at customers’ doors on Saturday for the HTC Incredible S. It’ll be sold on contracts with O2, Orange and Vodafone, with prices starting at free on a £30 per month, two year contract.

The HTC Incredible S, in case you missed it in the gamut of phones launched last week at Mobile World Congress, sits slightly below the HTC Desire HD in HTC’s Android line up, with a smaller 4-inch WVGA screen, but the same healthy 768MB of RAM, 8MP camera and Android 2.2 OS.

We’ve contacted HTC for confirmation of a wider, exact launch date, and will update when we hear back.

We currently have the Desire, Desire HD and soon to be released Deisre S, what does this phone do that they don't?

I share your concern – personally, I'm just hoping for better battery lfie than the Desire HD.
