The Apple iPad, iMac, iPhone 4, MacBook Air, and Apple TV 2G walked away with top honors in the 2010 Engadget Awards. Out of the 21 possible categories, Apple products walked away with 8 awards. It looks like being a fanboy isn’t so bad after all. Let’s break down the complete list of winners.
We start things off with the Gadget of the Year, the Apple iPad. With 37.3 percent of the votes, the closest competitor was the Microsoft Kinect with 14.9 percent. In a much closer race was the Most Anticipated Gadget of 2011, won by the Motorola Xoom with 19.5 percent of the votes. The HP TouchPad came in a close second with 17.1 percent, followed by the Sony PSP 2.
It was no surprised that the Microsoft Kin was give the title Worst Gadget of the Year with 31.9 percent of the votes. The real shock was that second place was given to Google TV with 21.6 percent. Smartphone of the Year went to the iPhone 4 with 43 percent and in second place was the EVO 4G with 24.2 percent.
