Sony’s third release for the day is the Sony Vaio C series. This is the least exciting of the three announcement from today, but probably the most practical: it’s a super slim 13.3-inch laptop, that’s just 24mm deep, and weighs 1.75kg. Phwoar!
The Sony Vaio S series is a sleek hunk of metal, with an aluminium palm rest, with a concealed hinge too. The battery can push out up to seven hours on a full charge, and it comes with an extra battery, which you can charge separately, attach without a fuss to swap the old battery, and boost the power of the Vaio S series up to 14 hours of claimed Sony time.
The Sony Vaio S series runs Windows 7, and 13.3-inch screen has a resolution of 1366 x 768. It boasts a swanky backlit keyboard, as well as Sony’s trademark FastBoost, which claims to pump your machine into action 50% faster than other laptops.
Under the hood the Sony Vaio S series also has “Everywair”, which lets you connect to 3G on the go via your mobile broadband operator. We can’t wait to get our hands on this micro- beauty.
