Bulletstorm bullets: The most deadly PR stunt yet?

So we’re sitting here, minding our own business, opening the post like we do every day, when what should we find in an envelope but what would appear to be real, live bullets? No, we’re not being stalked – it turns out it’s a marketing ruse for Bulletstorm, the gory, OTT shooter out on Friday.

As you can see in the photos, these bullets are etched with the name of Grayson Hunt, Bulletstorm’s protagonist – and accompanied by a letter using rather blue language to big up the game.

Now we’re not experts in real ammunition so we don’t know if these really could be used to cap a person’s posterior, as they say in the hood, but we are gaming gurus – and our verdict on Bulletstorm itself will be going live this afternoon. Watch out for that, and in the meantime click through for the shots of this scary package.

    Not live bullets, the little circles in the bottom are called primers and if there is a dint in them they have been struck. so they are therefore not live
