We already have a few IM apps in our best iPhone apps library but imo should make a good addition to your armoury. Unlike lots of other IM apps which have tussled for a place in our best iPhone apps selection, imo doesn’t ask you to sign up for a new account, instead it lets you hook together existing logins for MSN, Skype, AIM/AOL, Yahoo, Google Talk, Facebook, Jabber and MySpace chat services.
imo’s cleverness and ease of use earns it a spot in the best iPhone apps pantheon. Push notifications get to you for 72 hours after you close the app so you can restart chats without needing to keep the app in the background burning battery and most useful of all the app lets you fire off voice IMs for when your fingers are too busy to bash out a message.
