Skyfire for iOS two day sale ends Friday, February 18Ready to save some coin buying the baddest web browser on the planet? Good, Skyfire for iOS is now on sale until February 18, 2011 at 1:00am (GMT). If you have an iPhone or iPad, but haven’t made the move to expand your browsing capabilities, now is the time.

Skyfire for iPhone, normally priced at $2.99, will be $1.99 until Friday morning. The iPad version will also be discounted $1.00, down from $4.99 to $3.99. This 48-hour sale is the perfect opportunity to join the more than 300,000 iPhone users and 200,000 iPad users who downloaded the browser within the first three days of launching.

For those not in the know, Skyfire for iOS takes the world of Adobe Flash and converts the video into tasty h.264 bits. This Apple friendly video is then fired across the web to your iOS device for seamless playback, almost as if your iOS device had native Flash support. Since it doesn’t look like Apple will opt for traditional Flash support anytime soon, Skyfire is your best bet.
