The HTC Wildfire S is HTC’s newest low-end Android phone, and obviously the follow-up to the HTC Wildfire. That doesn’t mean it skimps on core features though, and the screen’s had an upgrade to double the resolution of its predecessor. Meet HTC’s newest assault on the budget smartphone market.
The Wildfire S is less of a hulking metal beast, and more a plastic-rimmed cutey. It’s small, almost humble stature hides the fact it’s packing Android Gingerbread inside, along with a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, N-standard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0.
Available in a range of colours, HTC tells us the Wildfire S will bring smiles to thrifty Android fans’ faces in Q2, or June at the latest
