The ViewSonic ViewPad 4 was first outed at CES last month, and now at MWC 2011, we’ve had a chance to get our hands on one, and we’re impressed. Read on for more photos and our first impressions of the ViewSonic ViewPad 4.
The ViewSonic ViewPad 4 has a 4.1-inch screen, and will be running Android Gingerbread 2.3. It has DLNA, and is equipped with a Mini HDMI. The build is solid and it looks sleek too, and has a 1GHz processor under the hood.
The smaller screen size means it’s a sort of half way point between a smartphone and a tablet – ViewSonic spokesman Derek Wright said: “It’s branded as a ViewPad, so obviously we’re positioning it as a tablet, but it’s very clearly a mobile phone”
