The ViewSonic ViewPad 10 Pro is a dual-booting tablet. We’ve been taking a closer look at MWC 2011, click through for our first impressions and photos.
The ViewSonic ViewPad 10 Pro dual boots between Windows 7 and Android 2.2, sort of. Its predecessor did a proper, fully blown dual boot, whereas the ViewSonic ViewPad Pro virtualises Android on top of Windows 7.
Battery life clocks in at around six hours from a single charge, and there’s a whopping 2GB of RAM in the ViewPad 10 Pro, so Android is super speedy. The more tech savvy among you might be interested to note that it’s built on the Intel Oaktrail platform.
The ViewSonic ViewPad has a 10-inch screen, which we found to be bright and colourful. Switching between different operating systems was a little clunky at times, but then again this isn’t final software, so there’s plenty of time to iron out niggles like this.
