The Motorola Pro, the Android blower that takes aim at BlackBerry with a portrait QWERTY keyboard and workplace skills, is finally on its ways to Europe. Outed as the Droid Pro across the pond way back in June last year, Moto has confirmed it’s forthcoming Euro debut at Mobile World Congress.
As well as that work-friendly keypad, the Motorola Pro also touts a 3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen for scooching around Android 2.2 FroYo. Under the hood, there’s a 1GHz processor, 2GB of storage (which can be bumped up by 32GB microSD), along with Flash 10.1 support and mobile hotspot skills.
There’s an additional Motorola Pro desktop dock, which turns the blower into a clock and digital photo frame. A nifty extra for when you’re not bashing out emails and generally trying to look busy.
Sadly, Moto hasn’t actually handed over an actual release date, which means we could be waiting some time to see this hit shelves. In the meantime, salivate at the Motorola Pro’s sleek looks in the official video below.
