Spotify could be one step closer to a US launch, although we’re sure we’ve said this before. Now US music industry bods with free test accounts are having their accounts shifted to Spotify Premium, and have to pay for the privilege. Those industry bods also received an email promising a Spotify US launch.
The emails said that the full Spotify US service would be launching in the coming months, and the fact that the free accounts are now having to be paid for could indicate that a full launch is just around the corner.
