Sony has announced not one, but three new Sony cameras today, as well as a new Party-shot dock. New Cyber-shots announced are the DSC-HX100V with 30x optical zoom and the Cyber-shot DSC-HX9V with 16x zoom, plus the Cyber-shot W520. Cyber-shot DSC-HX100V & CyberShot DSC-HX9V
Both Cyber-shot cameras have impressive zoom capabilites, with 16x and 30x zooms. Both have Sony’s SteadyShot image stabilisation, one touch HD video recording, 16.2MP sensors and 3- inch LCD displays, as well as high-speed autofocus that runs at up to 50fps. It’s also packing a GPS and compass, plus 3D image capabilities, so you can shoot panoramas and stills in 3D. The Cyber-shot HX100V also features a manual control ring too.

Cyber-shot W520
Also announced by Sony today is the Cyber-shot W520, which has a more than adequate 14.1MP sensor, 5x optical zoom with 25mm wide angle, and a 2.7-inch LCD, with intelligent auto and sweep panorama.

Party-shot IPT-DS2
The Party-shot is an accessory for Cyber-shot cameras that snaps away at parties. It’s a docking base that automatically shoots smiling portraits of everyone at your bash. the new Party-shot has touch sensitive activation and support for panorama shooting.

The Cyber-shot W520 compact digital camera will be available from March 2011. The Cyber-shot HX100V and HX9V will be available from April 2011.
