Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 specs leakedThe upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 specifications have just been leaked. The successor to the wildly successful Galaxy Tab will bring a dual-core processor and possibly even a 3D display. Are you ready for the second generation Tab?

Let’s make this real clear — these specs are not official by any means. However, they do offer a glimpse on what we may see on the Galaxy Tab 2 if it is unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2011 like we expect. Without further adieu let’s dive right in.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 will be powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but upgradable to Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The Honeycomb update will enable 3D on the display, which will be seven inches like the original, but Super AMOLED and run at 2048 x 1200 pixels. At the heart of the Tab 2 will be the Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, dual cores running at 1 GHz.

On the back of the Galaxy Tab 2 will be an eight megapixel camera, capable of recording 1080P HD video, along with dual LED flash and a front, three megapixel camera for web chats. Standard features include 3G support, 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth version 3.0. A USB port on the side is also rumored, alongside a microSD card slot to compliment the 64GB of internal storage.

Other highlights of the Galaxy Tab 2 include 1GB of RAM, an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass and barometer. All of the aforementioned specs come by way of oled-info.com, who reportedly tracked down this information alongside a leaked video (also embedded above). Now that we’ve given you the scoop on the Galaxy Tab 2, it’s time for you to weigh in. Do you think that any of these specs will see the light of day?
