The Skype Toolbar is installed automatically in Firefox when the Skype application is installed or updated. It allows you to call directly from web pages but Mozilla says: “The current shipping version of the Skype Toolbar is one of the top crashers of Mozilla Firefox 3.6.13, and was involved in almost 40,000 crashes of Firefox last week. We’ll add all versions of the Skype Toolbar to the Firefox Blocklist for all versions of Firefox.”. Ooops, Skype ain’t gonna be happy…

    Mozilla has the right to ban the Skype add-on on Firefox since it is causing the browser to crash. Skype must fix the problem and not the other way around.
