Is Nokia outing the Nokia N9, complete with Intel processor and MeeGo, at Mobile World Congress in a couple of weeks? According to one Finnish source it is. To confirm, that’s a 1.2GHz Intel Atom processor. In a smartphone.
The information comes from Finnish technology magazine, Prosesori, although the mag doesn’t quote a source for the information that the Nokia N9 will have an Atom processor.
A quick peek at the exhibitors for Mobile World Congress 2011 though, reveals that Nokia is listed as exhibiting, and new Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has a keynote. This is sharp contrast to last year, when last year it just had a press conference nearby. Could this be the announcement of a Nokia N9, with MeeGo and an Intel Atom processor?
