iPad 2: SDK reveals camera

We’ve been hearing about the iPad 2 having a camera for weeks. Months. There’s been leaks and rumours suggested by case makers with iPad 2 cases for sale and dummy iPad 2 models, and all manner of hints and whisperings. Now, there’s some info from the SDK: camera logos at iPad resolution. Click through for the images.

The leak comes from 9to5Mac, who have been having a right old root around by the looks of things. The images (that are cut off) have been identified as shutter screens the same as the ones on iPhone, but at iPad resolution of 1024 x 768, and there’s icons too. Here’s the pic!

Interesting no increase in screen resolution……

I think they'd be hard pressed to do that affordably at that size to be honest – the processor would need a bump as well to handle it all comfortably.

If they were going to increase the resolution without having to adjust the OS and every app, they would have to double the resolution. That would mean a higher resolution than the 27 inch iMac in a 9.7inch screen which is just ridiculous and not possible.

does this mean iPad2 wont have a higher screen res ?
