Wowsa. Intel digital Lego looks amazing. Research bods at Intel’s Seattle lab have created a system that uses 3D image recognition to create virtual spaces and actions for physical Lego toys. You can see them in action after the break…
That means you’d be able to do stuff like setting a Lego building ablaze with a Lego dragon or watch miniature passengers hopping on to a Lego train as it travels around a virtual track. Intel also plans to bring this technology to other toys. We’d love to see it built-in to an Action Man or Star Wars figures. You can see the Intel Lego digital demo on video below:
