Nintento President Saturo Iwata has said that games releases for the Nintendo 3DS will not dry up a few months after launch. Iwata said that Nintendo has learnt from its mistakes with the Wii and DS, and will not leave gaping holes in the schedule of games releases when the Nintendo 3DS takes centre stage in a couple of months.
Iwata told a Japanese newspaper: “It’s important that you are able to supply software with no pause. With the DS and Wii, following the titles that were released at launch, the momentum dropped when there was a gap in software releases. We’re making plans so that this type of thing won’t happen.”
