T-Mobile and LG joined hands today to announce the Android Honeycomb-fuelled T-Mobile G-Slate. It’s what will surely be the first of many 4G tablets we’ll be hearing about in the near future. Read on to learn more about the T-Mobile G-Slate right here.

T-Mobile is calling the T-Mobile G-Slate a “milestone in the evolution of the Android platform.” If you’re looking for cold hard details, they have yet to be disclosed. However LG promises that the T-Mobile G-Slate will excel at “Streamlining everyday tasks and enhancing entertainment with blazing fast 4G speed…”

The T-Mobile G-Slate will be one of the first 4G tablets to don the optimised Android 3.0 platform designed to deliver a tablet experience worth waiting for. That means widgets, proper multi-tasking and all that good stuff. Naturally you can expect full Google app compatibility with Google Maps 5.0, eBooks and Google Talk.

More T-Mobile G-Slate details when we get them. In the meantime you’ll have to make do with tablets such as the iPad and Galaxy Tab. But do check out the teasing video of it in action below:
