We’ve just received word that the Mac App Store will go live at noon EST tomorrow (Thursday). Up until now we knew the launch was coming on January 6th, but an exact time really builds up some of the excitement. Sure, there’s CES 2011 going on in Las Vegas, but for the Mac community — January’s Apple press event is where the magic happens.
According to 9to5Mac, Twitter has been confirmed for launch tomorrow. It’s not actually a new program, in fact it looks to be a rebranded Tweetie 2 client. There’s no word on a price, but seeing how the current Tweetie client is free we wouldn’t expect a fee to be attached to the release. Notable features include native retweeting, realtime updates, and drag and drop tweets.
