We’ve been big fans of the Boxee Box but the option to just stick the Boxee software on a Mac Mini or media PC in your living room is a good one. The only down side right now is the lack of that awesome Boxee Remote. But no longer, we spied a new version of the QWERTY-packing Boxee Remote with support for Mac and PC lurking at CES 2011. There’s no confirmed release date or price for the Boxee Remote PC/Mac version yet but click the previous link to get official news on the details from D-Link’s very own man at CES.

Asus is releasing a massive number of Android Honeycomb tablets including the Eee Pad Memo, Eee Pad Slate, Eee Pad Transformer and Eee Pad Slider. We hunted down Asus technical marketing manager Gary Key to find out when they’ll be hitting the UK and he confirmed that the UK is likely to be first in line for Asus’ tablet prescription. Click the next link for all the details on the new Asus Eee Pad tablets.

Apple AirPlay systems have been announced in their droves but not many are actually reaching us soon. The iHome iW1 is a wireless AirPlay speaker system heading for Apple stores in the next couple of months. It’ll hook up to iTunes via WiFi and has a rechargeable battery so you can easily move it round the house. Click the next link for all the info on the iHome iW1.

In other CES excitement, Lenovo has shown off its LePad tablet and the crazy, transforming Lenovo U1 tablet laptop, Black & Decker have sexed up shredding with the Black & Decker iShred (really? Still with the ‘i” prefix?) and Mavia has outed the nifty Mavia car diagnostic tool.
