Last month, we gave you the chance to win an HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7 smartphone. All you had to do was show us your best home made gadget. We had some cracking entries, but in the end, we had to give it to this knitted Nintendo DS. Or should that be Knitendo DS? Read on and find out who crafted it.
The winner of our HTC HD7 competition is Pam Mehroke, who stitched this fantastic and instantly recognisable handheld gaming console. Pam tells us that she loves “all sorts of creative hobbies such as knitting, sewing, crochet, embroidery and I thought I would combine my interests to create something for this competition. My children used to play for hours on their Nintendo and I decided to use this for inspiration for my design. This brilliant prize will make a great birthday present for my daughter who badly needs a new phone.”
Congratulations Pam, your prize will be with you soon. Honourable mention has to go to Ade Dalby though for his HTC HD7 made out of toast, ham and cheese, which we’re publishing here again. Tasty.

HTC HD7 kindly provided by O2.
Didn’t win this time? No worries: you can still win a PlayStation Move and our five best PS3 Move games right here!
