Gmail Priority Inbox has hit the Gmail Android app for everyone. If you’re familiar with Gmail Priority Inbox on the web you’ll understand it immediately. Messages Gmail thinks are important are tagged with arrows in Inbox view. If you want to only see the important stuff there’s a Priority Inbox label you can jump to. You can also now tell the Gmail app to only notify you about emails in the Gmail Priority Inbox so your vibration or audio alert tone only bother you when Gmail believes you’ve got some genuinely important email waiting for your attention.

Yes, iPad 2 rumours are really nothing new but a new report from Reuters claims that the second generation iPad will come packing the dual cameras we’ve long expected and will arrive in April 2011 following a January 2011 announcement. A FaceTime-packing iPad has been predicted for some time and Reuters sources claim it is being built with Wintek making the touchscreen. Analysts who spoke to Reuters predicted that we’ll see an April shipping date for the iPad 2. Apple iPad 2 will not use an OLED display?The second generation iPad, iPad 2, will be released in the first quarter of 2011. The updated display is rumored to run at Retina resolution, but it will not feature OLED display technology. Samsung Mobile Display, which currently holds 98 percent of the OLED market simply, can’t deliver the number of panels Apple requires.

iTunes bumps song previews to 90 seconds!The iTunes Connect memo sent out the Label Representatives has proven accurate as iTunes now offers song previews of 90 seconds, up from 60 seconds. With a minute and a half length you are now able to listen to nearly half of most songs. Short of offering the entire song for preview, Apple has listened to the users and given us what we want.
