The latest installment in the transmedia adventures of The Thick Of It is upon us. This time it’s the iPhone app, called Malcolm Tucker: The Missing Phone. The story: Malcolm Tucker has lost his iPhone, and you just found it. As you’d expect, he’s a little bit annoyed about it.
We love Google Demo Slam, it’s a treaure trove of Google-inspired weirdness. Our favourite this week is Google Earth sky diving. The video, which you can see after the break, shows a band of brilliant Japanese teenagers doing Google Earth sky diving which essentially means using a huge projector screen and Google Earth to simulate chucking yourself out of a plane.
A laptop running Google Earth is made to zoom through the different levels of Google Earth as if the virtual sky divers are falling from a great height. For added realism, the Google Earth sky divers have stuck on some fans to get that rushing through the air feeling. Read on to see Google Earth sky diving in action. Warning: it is odd.

The iPad is not exactly packing many ports and while Apple sells adaptors they’re hardly brilliant for multi-tasking USB junkies.
