The Google TV rollout is being delayed by Google as it struggles with software issues that have led to lukewarm reviews and high user returns. Google TV devices from Sony and Logitech are already out in the US but an avalanche of other Google TV products from LG, Toshiba and Sharp were meant to be unveiled at CES 2011. It now looks like that’s no longer the case…
The New York Times now reports that they will not be making their debut in January as Google has asked them to hold back. Bugs like unpredictable search and unstable apps have dogged Google TV since it emerged in the States and we’re wondering whether Google’s mooted software fix can get its living room invasion back on track. A delay to the launch of Google TV devices is bad news for UK Google fans, we still don’t know when Google TV is going to make its UK debut.
