Gmail Priority Inbox has hit the Gmail Android app for everyone. If you’re familiar with Gmail Priority Inbox on the web you’ll understand it immediately. Messages Gmail thinks are important are tagged with arrows in Inbox view. If you want to only see the important stuff there’s a Priority Inbox label you can jump to. You can also now tell the Gmail app to only notify you about emails in the Gmail Priority Inbox so your vibration or audio alert tone only bother you when Gmail believes you’ve got some genuinely important email waiting for your attention.
