Those well-informed folk at the FT claim a BBC iPlayer US iPad subscription service will launch in “the middle of next year” but “only in certain target markets”. Pricing isn’t really discussed but the loose-lipped BBC sources say there’ll be ad-supported stuff as well as paid for shows.
