Yesterday we asked you if the flurry of new tablets that were hitting the shelves now and in the next few months mean that the iPad would be knocked off top dog spot in the tablet stakes. 47 per cent of you said that the iPad is still king, and it will be for some time. 38 per cent of you though, said that the iPad would be toppled by the arrival of Android for tablets, Android 3.0. Only 13 per cent said the iPad had already been toppled, and a couple of people said the BlackBerry PlayBook and webOS would topple the iPad when they arrive.

The Advent Vega is available to buy online now, from PC World and Dixons. It’s priced at £250, and is shipping now. The 10.1 inch Froyo tablet was meant to arrive at the beginning of the month, but getting things right held it back by a couple of weeks.
