Assuming you’ve found a way to pick up the Samsung Galaxy Tab without a data package, we’ve got a nifty little trick to help you bypass activation. With a few button sequences, and arguably a knock off of the old NES console trick, you’ll be on your way to enjoying the Galaxy Tab in Wi-Fi only form.
The first thing you’ll need to do is power up your Samsung Galaxy Tab. At the activation screen press “volume up” once, press “volume down” twice, press “volume up” three times, and press “volume down” four times.
Yes, it really is that simple to unlock Galaxy Tab hardware. Give it a try, and you should be on your way to surfing the web and enjoying the Wi-Fi-only perks of the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
