The latest in a string of awesome and nifty Kinect hacks is this one: Kinect hacked to play Minecraft. Is this the Holy Grail of Kinect hacks? Click through for the video.

It’s an early version yet, and its creator Paulo says there are still lots of bugs to fix, and functionalities to add. At the moment, he’s off to a flying start though, even only with only the abilities to turn around and walk forward.

In the video you can see Paulo controlling the viewing angle in the top left hand window of the screen. Watch the game play in the bottom right. He’s continuing to work on his Kinect Minecraft hack, and for those of you who want in on the action, Paulo says he will be releasing the source code once he’s tidied it up a bit.
