Rupert Murdoch announced that he would be publishing an iPad only newspaper staffed by 100 journalists earlier in the week, and now Richard Branson has come out of the woodwork and squared up to Murdoch, announcing that he’s also after a piece of the iPad-only publication pie.
Murdoch’s iPad paper will be called The Daily, and while the Branson iPad project does not have a name yet, it’s pointed more in the direction of culture and entertainment. It will be spearheaded by Holly Branson, offspring of the original Branson, along with former editor of FHM and Zoo, Anthony Noguera.
