iOS 4.3 and News Corp iPad newspaper launching December?

Apple has only just outed iOS 4.2 but we could see iOS 4.3 as early as December according to new reports. It’ll apparently bring app subscriptions as a major feature paving the way for the News Corp iPad newspaper, “The Daily”, to make its debut on iPad and potentially iPhone and iPod touch…

iOS 4.3 is reportedly pegged for a December 13 launch and Apple-watcher-in-chief John Gruber at Daring Fireball is claiming Apple will hold an event on December 9 to announce it. Will we see a Murdoch striding onstage with Steve Jobs? We doubt Rupert will pop up but James Murdoch might do.

Rumours around the News Corp iPad newspaper (allegedly called The Daily) suggest Apple has been helping the Murdoch empire with creating the tablet publication. If they’re true, it would make sense to see an Apple event to herald the app subscriptions and the iPad as the “saviour of news!”.
