Yup, a new Acer Android smartphone that looks even slicker than the Liquid Metal. Acer just outed the nameless Android handset at its global press conference in New York, and it’s one massive slice of sexy, primed to batter the 5-inch Dell Streak into submission. Read all about it here!
Acer is only calling it a “next generation smartphone”, for now, but its new Android phone, with a whopping 4.8-inch, 1024 x480 screen, rocks a very similar form factor to the Dell Streak. In other words, it’s as big as your head: it measures 141.7 x 64 x 13.3mm.
The new Acer Android smartphone comes with an 8 megapixel camera capable of 720p video recording, Adobe Flash 10.1 support, Bluetooth 3.0 and a nameless build of Android (Gingebread perhaps?) – plus a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front too for video chat.
Unfortunately, this new Acer Android smartphone isn’t out until April next year, but at least that gives us plenty of time to start saving, eh?
Out April | £TBC | Acer
