Apple has stealthily punted Ping onto the iPad. The music-sharing social network baked into iTunes has been getting a little bit more useful recently with Twitter integration thrown into the mix last week. Now you can get at Ping via the iTunes iPad app. So what does Pinging (we’re not sure that really is a verb) on the iPad get you?
Ping on iPad lets you check out your friends activity:what songs they’re digging and, more importantly for Apple, buying, who they’re following and when they make changes to their Ping profile. The iPad Ping integration also lets you like tunes or comment on other Pingers’ (again, not sure on that one) purchases and swiftly snaffle up recommended music for yourself.
