We’ve got a creeping suspicion that Project Titan – the long-rumoured Facebook email service – might be about to break cover. Facebook messaging right now is quite irritating and definitely needs an overhaul. With Google and Facebook currently having a playground scrap, a Facebook Gmail fighter would also throw a big email shaped cat amongst the pigeons.     As I don't use Facebook, I am very unlikely to use their email or even want to. I know Google has a tarnished reputation when it comes to data protection, but Facebook makes Google look positively angelic in comparison. Who knows who they'd sell the contents of your emails to – along with all your other private data.

      Quite. It'd have to be something phenomenal to make me switch. Facebook's current messaging is awful.
