The iOS 4.2 unveiling is due this month and rumours suggest it’ll drop on Friday. Accordingly, web whispers say Apple will drop iTunes 10.1 today to make sure we’re all ready for iOS 4.2 launch day and the long-awaited arrival of iPad multitasking. iTunes 10.1 and the OS X 10.6.5 update are said to be slated to arrive later today.     Does 10.6.5 include the Mac App Store? Or is that wishful thinking?

      I dont think the mac app store comes out till Lion next year

        The App Store is actually coming to Snow Leopard, Apple was a bit misleading about that in the keynote. They said 90 days or so, but given that was last month I doubt this update will herald it.

          Exactly. It'll be here before Lion for sure but the upgrade to 10.6.5 would be a logical point in which to integrate it into OSX. Perhaps we'll see 10.6.6 before the year is out… Like most gadget fans I don't have much patience!
